Texas School Safety Course

YOU MUST ALREADY HAVE YOUR LICENSE TO CARRY IN HAND TO TAKE THIS COURSE. THAT MEANS YOU MUST HAVE THE LTC NOW, TODAY.
The Texas School Safety course is an official state certification course. People often refer to it as the “Guardian Course” but the Guardian course was created by Jeff Sellers years ago using a loophole in Texas law at the time because no official state certification was available.
Now that Texas created the School Safety Certification course that provides school employees who carry an official state certification to do so, the Guardian course alone is no longer relevant because it does not provide any official state certification on it’s own. The official Texas School Safety Certification course is the only course that provides school employees an official state certification and it provides school districts that allow employees to carry certain protections.
Who Can Take This Course?
This course was created for employees of a Texas school district or open-enrollment charter school who holds a valid Texas license to carry (LTC). School employees who do not have a Texas license to carry must get it before taking this course via state law.
Any individual Texas ISD teacher or Texas ISD employee CAN take this course and receive this certification without permission from their school district. You only need permission from the school district to carry IN the school.
Having this certification will help you in the future if the law changes or your school decides to use the guardian plan and allow certain staff to carry, you will already have this State certification and training. Plus this course will provide you with valuable life saving information.
School Districts
School districts that want to send their staff to our course for certification may contact us for a private course date. We can also cater this course to your specific needs and provide a yearly recertification class if your district requires it.
This is NOT a rubber stamp course. School districts can feel confidant about staff members that pass this course because it requires above average firearms safety, knowledge and shooting skills to pass.
This course provides a level of training unsurpassed in Texas. Not only does it give the stakeholders a liability shield against claims, but it gives the administrators a view of the skill level of their employees.
