Texas LTC Shooting Proficiency

The Texas LTC shooting proficiency is not really a test of your shooting accuracy, it is designed show that you know how to safely operate a handgun. While you must score a certain amount of points, it’s easy to score and most newer shooters score higher than what they need. As long as you know how to operate a handgun such as loading the magazine, racking the slide and firing the handgun you will do fine. You are also allowed to use “loaders” if you have trouble loading magazines.
