Texas LTC Instructor Training

To become a Texas LTC instructor, you must first have a firearms instructor certification. This certification can be obtained by taking our three-day NRA certified basic pistol instructor course. Once you have your certification, you can apply to the Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) for the LTC instructor license. We give you the required DPS form in our course.
